During our Cybersmart lesson with Mrs Tofa today, we created Matariki stars in Google Drawings. We used a template which was provided by Mrs Tofa and some of us used images and cropped the image to the shape of a star. We had to decorate our stars with images which represent Matariki. We also had to think about odering the layers of images so the images we wanted at the front were not hidden in the back. For images with backgrounds, we used Remove.bg to remove the backgrounds. The images look more effective when the background is removed.
We enjoyed today’s activity and here are some stars created by members of our class.
